Virginia State University's Farmer-to-Farmer program will be recruiting for FTF volunteers in Kenya and Uganda in 2005. We are reaching out to former Peace Corp volunteers who have the technical training and background needed for these volunteer projects. If you have technical skills, education and experience in the following areas and are interested in returning to Kenya or Uganda for a short term project of 2-3 weeks please contact me. The projects will need technical skills and experience in the following areas: Agriculture, agronomy, irrigation, Agricultural technical school systems and training teachers, community development, finance and banking, co-op development and farm associations, small animals as sheep and goats, farm management, and fisheries.
