Hi,
My daughter is 22, and will be gratuation from Bentley College this spring with a degree in finance and international business. She told me this morning that she thinks she would like to join the peace corps before pursuing her master's degree. I told her from what I knew, the peace corps was a wonderful organization and I thought she would benefit greatly. However, I was hoping you could provide me with as much information as you can before I give the stamp of approval. Would she be able to join this spring? What type of work would she be doing; would she use her degree? What destinations would she possibly be assigned to? What is the minimum time she could sign up for? When would she be able to visit us at home? I want her to pursue her dreams, and I think joining the peace corps is a wonderful idea, but I want to know what my daughter might be getting into.
