My Uncle Robert H. Schneider (Bob or Bobby) was an Industrial Arts Teacher at the Ponape Islands Central School 1971-1972. I am looking for anyone that knew him that could help us find a friend of his. Her name is Ruhanas Harun or Karun. I believe she was a student. You can email me at cushingc@howellschools.com. My friend "Shakey" was a child on Mokil atoll when Sally Williams of St. Louis,Chuck, and Harold Shibbey were housed with his family. He has fond memories of the group which was the second (?) 1963-4. I was in Brazil at the time but would like to assist fellow volunteers get reunited with old friends. |
