I am sorry to inform you that Mary Ann Wanush died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 in Hilo, Hawaii, at age 65 of a suspected brain aneurysm. She was an active member of the community who had lived nine years here. She was the executive director of the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association and was also on the board of Faith Against Drugs, a Hilo faith-based approach to the war on crystal methamphetamine. A celebration of her life is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Dodo Mortuary in Hilo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Against Drugs, 55 Kilauea Ave., Hilo HI 96720.
