I am trying to trace Parker (only name I have) who was the Peace Corps Volunteer at Kagwe Secondary School in Githunguri/Kiambu district of Kenya in 1984-85.

I was an English Project Trust Volunteer at Kamahindu Secondary School 3 miles away, along with my English colleague Jennifer Forward. We were rather naive, impressionable 18 year olds and Parker was very helpful, welcoming us to the area shortly after we arrived in September 1984. We took photographs of him but sadly the film was stolen in Nairobi so I don't even have a picture of him. I would dearly love to get in touch with him, catch up on 20 years worth of news etc.

If anyone knows Parker and his whereabouts now, please could you post a repy? Many thanks
Kenda Taylor (nee Beswick)

Dear Kenda
Sorry I can't help you in finding Parker - but I wanted to say hi because I was one of the two (founding) Project Trust volunteers at Kamahindu in 1983. I had a wonderful time and coincidently have just moved back to Nairobi so am planning to go and see if the school still exists. Do get in touch - it would be fun to trade memories.
All the best
