Hi all,
I am an RPCV from Kenya and I just started the site AcrossAfrica.com which is an online community for Africa. I invite you to share your experiences in Africa on AcrossAfrica.com
I encourage you to post your photos in the photos section, post your blogs, or just discuss topics about Africa in the Forums section.
I am also starting a site called AcrossAsia.com so feel free to post there as well.
Hope to see you on AcrossAfrica.com,
Ron

I am interested in finding Peace Corp representatives who can help their villages. I want to sell traditional products made by the villagers. I'm especially interested in Morocco, but also Africa in general. I would need good photos of the products, stories about the villages/artisans. I would sell the items and then send the money and you would ship the products to my customers.

I am a retired teacher who has spent time in several African countries-Morocco, Kenya, Tanzania, Burkina Faso and Mali. Now I am planning September and October in Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali. Organized tours to experience the cure salee and other traditional festivals in Niger cost nearly $4000 when booked through an agency- beyond a teacher's means! I am looking for suggestions from peace corps volunteers- local guides and services that would allow me to experience local culture, festivals, the desert, etc.

Je parle francais.

Jon
