Join the Returned Volunteers of Los Angeles on September 6 as the Los Angeles Dodgers honor RPCVs and local volunteers from communities in Southern California and Arizona. Peace Corps Director Gaddi Vasquez will be there and so may President Bush who has been extended an invitation. Grab some Cracker Jacks and get yourself out to the ballgame!! Cheer on the hometown Dodgers as they play the Houston Astros. (Game starts at 7:10pm) Join the Los Angeles Office of the Peace Corps and the Los Angeles Dodgers as they honor Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and local volunteers from communities in Southern California and Arizona. For every $11.00 ticket purchased, the Dodger's will donate $5.00 to RPCVLA! Please purchase your tickets through the following link:

Tickets will be sold via the Dodger link until August 30th. AFTER August 30th all ticket sales must go through the sales office at 323-224-1421.

There will be a pre-game RPCV international flag parade around the stadium, a Boy Scout Color Guard, a Heros from the Community ceremony, a youth leaders ceremony, and Southern California VIPs will be one hand to personally say thank you. The Director of the Peace Corps, Gaddi Vasquez will be attending and a special invitation has been extended to the President of the United States. A fireworks display will conclude the festivities.

If you would like to participate in the on-field international flag parade please contact Michaela Brehm, 310-235-7444 ext. 28. If you will be marching in the pre-game parade of flags please meet at the Center Field gates (near lots 8-10) NO LATER then 5:00PM. Bring water and per the Dodgers, no backpacks over 14inches will be allowed on field.

i'm looking to purchase several t-shirts from the LA rpcvs like the one i bought several years ago at a function at UCLA. light gray with the returned postage stamp on the back. any left?
