Description
The Peace Corps receives computer hardware, software, network, and system administration support services from Northrop Grumman Commercial Information Services via a task order under a GSA Seat Management contract (originally awarded as Federal Data Corp). The Peace Corps continues to work to achieve the best prices available for these products. Therefore, the Peace Corps will be conducting a series of reverse auctions (see FAR 15.306(e)(3)) for various hardware and software configurations. Interested vendors, especially GSA Schedule 70 contractors, are hereby invited to register at www.fedbid.com, a private and confidential reverse auction service website. Please be advised that the Peace Corps reserves the right to either purchase products offered via www.fedbid.com, or to use the information provided (on a confidential basis only) as market research data for price negotiations (see FAR 15.406-1) with the aforementioned Seat management contractor.
