Dear RPCV,

Hundreds of RPCVs around the nation have expressed
interest in the National Peace Corps Association's
Advocacy Day on September 20, 2001. The NPCA is
excited about your level of commitment to political action
on behalf of the three issues: More Peace Corps funding,
U.S. engagement in the fight against HIV/AIDS and a
responsible strategy on global climate change

As September draws near, the NPCA will be in the final
planning stages. We will be arranging appointments for you
with congressional offices as well as coordinating
additional activities.

It is imperative that we know whether you will be able to
attend and when you will be available on Thursday, Sept.
20.

Please respond with an e-mail to
advocacyassistant@rpcv.org by AUGUST 1, 2001 with
your full name, e-mail address and your choice of the
following options for participation (see below for details):

A. 9:00 am orientation (and Congressional appointment to
follow)
B. 11:00 am orientation (and Congressional appointment to
follow)
C. 3:00 panel discussion (no Congressional appointment)
D. I cannot attend.

If we do not hear from you by Aug. 1, we will assume that
you do not plan to participate.

The NPCA is offering three participation times:
