Randall S. Kroszner, of Illinois, to be a Member of the Council of Economic Advisers, vice Kathryn Shaw.

Jack Martin, of Michigan, to be Chief Financial Officer, Department of Education, vice Donald Rappaport, resigned.

Josephine K. Olsen, of Maryland, to be Deputy Director of the Peace Corps, vice Charles R. Baquet III, resigned.

Congratulations to Chuck Baquet for holding the fort and best wishes.

Clearly, Mr. Vasquez is not a suitable selection for Peace Corps director, having no previous Peace Corps or foreign service experience. His nomination appears to be a pay-back for a large campaign contribution during the last presidential campaign.

Peace Corps deserves a more qualified leader.
