The Maine Civil Liberties Union (MCLU) is searching for an Executive Director to carry out the challenging and diverse activities of the organization. The Executive Director is a spokesperson for civil liberties and provides leadership and management for the staff and Board of Directors.


WHO WE ARE

The MCLU, an affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union, is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that works to protect basic civil liberties through legal, legislative, and public education programs and special projects. Founded in 1968, the MCLU plays a vital, visible, and respected leadership role in defending and expanding individual rights and personal freedom. We have a highly capable staff, an outstanding volunteer Legal Panel and network of cooperating attorneys, and a dedicated Board of Directors.
