Dear John,
Do hope this doesn't intrude on your obviously busy schedule??

But--we served(as two old people) in Isabel and Honaria from 1986-88, and have been very out of touch for some time. I've been trying to find Reuben Natawan, formerly of Isabel Provence, but imagine he moved up in the government, very bright, very wonderful guy.

Also, I've been trying to get news of what's happening to those dear islands; as a relative new user on this $#%$ machine it's a chore, so am delighted to have found you!!

We live in San Diego on the Bay and would be delighted to host a visit if you are ever in the area or need a vacation. My husband is a Political Scientist from the U. of Chicago, who, after 12 years in Spain ended up teaching in Durango, Co. I did some graduate work at CSU when we first cam back from Spain.

I shall not belabor this message; we'd love to hear anything about the islands, or about you!

Sincerely,
Barbara and David Bass
