Edith McClintock is the Communications and Environmental Education Coordinator for WWF Guianas and currently a Peace Corps Volunteer.

She has been living in Suriname since September 2000 and will be finishing her two-year Peace Corps assignment this fall (autumn).

Edith has been working in conservation since she was seventeen for a variety of organizations, from Florida PIRG to The Nature Conservancy, but always became a bit envious reading about conservation and research projects around the world in WWF-US’s “Focus” magazine. Getting a chance to work for WWF in the Guianas was a dream come true.

Edith has a graduate degree in Environmental Science and will be looking for a conservation job around March 2003, following work on a monkey research project in the Central Suriname Nature Reserve. Feel free to e-mail her with openings.
