Peace Corps is considered as a very remarkable token of cordial cooperation and relationship between human being that could have been possibly shown to each other. People with different race, religion, culture, and language are courteously treated without discrimination. The fundamental rule and core belief of this organization is believed to be the most valuable willpower of mankind, Indisputably, reputation and performance of Peace Corps has been highly accepted worldwide by numerous agencies.
From my point of view, and I do believe that it represents feeling of villagers in the remote areas that these young devotees have been working with, Peace Corps volunteers are the most effective tool of diplomatic channel and foreign relations from the United States of America. Young Peace Corps have been trained to be fluent in local language where they are going to work. This is a very crucial to the success of their performance in that particular country. Towards the Thai attitude, these young friendly Americans could exchange their culture, tradition, knowledge, and all abilities that they would possibly do to all people they have been intermingled with. No matter how hard the assignment is or how tough the rural area in Thailand is, Peace Corps remarkably deliver their message across through the local language,
When we compare the cost and benefit gains from the Peace Corps operation with the assignment of expatriate experts in the development projects, it is amazingly recognized that cost of Peace Corps operation is quite low but the positive impacts from their work is immense.
With our cordial relationship between our two countries that have been tied together centuries ago and with the untiring 40 years of Peace Corps of the United States of America in Thailand, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the cerebration of the 40th anniversary of Peace Corps in Thailand. I also wish the organization and all members for the successful operation and prosperous future.
