Morocco is like the desert palm with its roots deep in Africa, influenced by Islam and swept by the winds of Europe. (His Majesty Hassan II)
I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco from 1991-1993 where I worked as a natural resource manager with the Department of Waters and
Forests (Les Eaux et Forets). My first assignment was on the Mediterranean coast in Al Hoceima and the second in the High Atlas Mountains south of Marrakech at Toubkal Parc National.
In hopes that people around the world will learn more about each other I have included here my stories and pictures from Morocco.
