My name's Vanya, I'm Malawian, but have lived in the US for 9 years.
I'm interested in donating school supplies to Malawian schools that are lacking in them, (I was thinking along the lines of pencils, workbooks/paper, teaching aids etc). I want to find out what supplies are needed most and what educational textbooks are needed so I don't buy something uneccessary. If anyone has any knowledge on the needs of Malawian schools at present, and how I can go about sending them please let me know.

PS: I was also thinking of sending over vegetable and fruit seeds for rural areas of Malawi. I really think that rural schools should teach their kids survival skills and how to be self-sufficient instead of having to rely soley on aid. |
