Peace Corps Volunteers,
I am a Junior in college and will graduate with an elementary teaching degree next year.
I am seriously considering joining the Peace Corps and I've heard great things. One individual I know mentioned that the Peace Corps was a Christian-run organization that helps spread the Christian word. I hadn't heard this before, but was excited to hear it. I've become more and more interested in doing missionary work with my Church... and am wondering what kind of experience the Peace Corps could give me. Any insight you provide would be appreciated.

We are government, not Christian, and "spreading the word" can (and should) NOT be involved in your work as a PCV. If you want to me a missionary, join a church. |
