My name is Dream Claude Kombo Bultongez and I am looking for Mrs. Sheri Lane Williamson and her daughter, Kamerhe. She was my best and favorite teacher of English that I really loved and cherished. A PCV from Des Moines, IA, she taught me English at Indobo High School in Kikwit Sacre-Coeur, Congo (DRC), formerly Zaire, from 1975 to 1977. This is Sheri. I only recently came across your message on the Peace Corps Online site. I have tried the email and number you listed but have not met with success yet.
I remarried in the mid 1980s so my name changed. I was widowed after only a year and have never remarried. I currently live and teach in the Middle East. This year makes 30 years of teaching. I would love to hear from you and reconnect. I sent an email to your address so contact me when you can. My sincere hope is that you are not currently in the Congo. I am very saddened to see the pictures from the Bukavu and Goma area. Who knew almost 30 years ago that we would still carry memories of our days in our English classroom in Kikwit.
