I don't understand the logic behind Directory listings. The beginning of the KENYA list has names and emails arranged logically by years of service. Then, without warning, the list changes to profiles that seem random and sparse.Surely there are more profiles than the few listed, including my new one. The profiles appear neither alphabetically nor by the years in service. AND what's with these strange arrow symbols that appear at points in the list? Who are the names boxed into those odd headings? Is this described anywhere?

The Directory listings are posted in the chronological order in which they are received. It would be too time consuming to re-alphabetize the 100+ COS Directory lists every day, week, or month so we just leave them like they are.
It doesn't take too long to browse down through a list and see if there is somebody you recognize. If you are looking for someone specific, use one of the "Find" commands in the left frame.
We've also been asked a related question about the external links on some of our pages. Yes, some of the external links that are posted are dead. There are over 5,000 individual web pages on this site and most of them contain multiple links to external web pages. The links are valid at the time they are posted. It is simply not within our power to check them after that. Same with e-mail addresses in the COS Directories, by the way. Here's something you can try: if a link is bad, try going to the internet archive and looking for it.
