I am interested in joining the peace corps, my biggest love is education, I want to go somewhere to teach anything really. I will only have an associates of arts degree at the end of this quarter, would that be sufficient? What should i expect? how long are the terms? what are the pros and con's from someone who has done this? I would really just like to hear some people's stories and perspectives, thanks, amanda |

It can indeed be done as long as you meet age requirement, etc... It would help if you had some teaching experience (perhaps training/internship you did for the degree?). PC is actually targeting recruitment at community colleges more these days. Go to www.peacecorps.gov - the official PC site. There you'll find all of the requirements, information on recruitment at community colleges and much more. |
