Hi: I am trying to find out exactly which year Herbert David Grunwald served in Sierra Leone. He was from Sacramento and it would be circa 1964. I believe he was in the 2nd class to go and was sent off personally by Sargent Shriver. He might have been known as David Grunwald. He is deceased and was my husband. |

I have just seen this posting. Sorry to learn about the demise of your husband, Mr. Grunwald. He taught me History at the Sierra Leone Grammar School in the 1964 - 65 academic year. |
