I never knew turkeys had tails until I got to Togo... but in Lome you could buy them on just about any busy street corner: hot, greasy, delicious. The rumor was that they came in frozen from Europe, where they were judged beneath contempt... all I know is, I'd never had them before, and I've never had one since!
