Caan, Clayburgh in Fox Pilot

Two major movie stars of the '70s, James Caan and Jill Clayburgh, have signed on to star in an untitled sitcom pilot for Fox, Variety reports.

Clayburgh who was nominated for an Oscar for the 1978 film An Unmarried Woman and who currently stars on NBC's Leap of Faith will play the wife of Caan's character. Caan (The Godfather, Rollerball) will portray a conservative father at odds with his stepson (Hamish Linklater) after the youngster returns home from serving in the Peace Corps.
