WASHINGTON - President Bush will visit Peru and El Salvador next month.
Bush will visit Peru on March 23 to meet with President Alejandro Toledo, then travel to El Salvador for a meeting with President Francisco Flores the following day, White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said Thursday.
Bush will discuss trade, efforts to combat narcotics trafficking and terrorism with Toledo, Fleischer said. He and Flores will talk about plans for a Central American free trade agreement, general reforms in El Salvador and U.S. assistance with earthquake recovery.
