Make a Call for the Peace Corps
If you live in California, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennesee, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming - make a call for the future of the Peace Corps.
Over the past several weeks, over 300 of you have signed the online Petition against Gaddi Vasquez's nomination for Peace Corps Director.
Yesterday, the Senate officially received the nomination and the Foreign Relations Committee may begin holding hearings on him as early as next week.
If you feel strongly about this nomination and you are from one of the above mentioned states, then please pick up the phone, call the Senator from your state, and tell the staffer that answers the phone your name, that you are a consituent and a Friend of the Peace Corps and that you oppose the nomination of Gaddi Vasquez as Peace Corps Director.
