Call your Congressmen to support the Peace Corps Bill

RE: YOUR LAST CHANCE TO GET THE HOUSE TO PASS SENATE BILL S-2667 (WHICH HAS ALREADY PASSED IN THE SENATE) (THE PEACE CORPS CHARTER FOR THE 21ST CENTURY ACT) (act now, because Nov. 12-15, when the House reconvenes, is the window of opportunity for a vote in the House)

FR: Dave Hibbard and Roger Landrum The Coalition for the Peace Corps Charter for the 21st Century Act.

WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?

Because for the first time ever, Congress would appropriate $10 million to be used by RPCVs on 3rd goal projects. (At this crucial period, we certainly need all of the American people to better understand the other people of the world.)

Because the bill would not only provide the funding for doubling the Peace Corps over 5 years, but calls for a dramatic increase in the use of RPCVs in reaching all 3 of the Peace Corps goals.
