Roger Stanton loses Orange County election
MOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. (AP) -- Roger Stanton, 65, a former member of the Orange County Board of Supervisors, was losing his bid for a City Council seat, with all precincts reporting. Stanton was on the board in 1994 when the city plunged into bankruptcy. A central plank of his platform was fiscal responsibility.
