Some people were wondering if this has already gone through congress. I thought it had and have already sent my stuff.

Someone was also wondering why RPCVs never seem
to get real work. Its been my experience that RPCVs are never wanted by Americans. This is very obvious when you get home. When you leave Peace Corps they strongly advise more schooling. I beleive this has alot to do with the fact that RPCVs are not wanted.

Peace Corps is usually a huge mistake (see Thurmond) no matter what you do afterward. It ruins careers.

I enjoyed my service and this website is fun with foreign appropriations, etc., but I can't emphasize enough that most RPCVs never seem to do (financially) very well, no matter what they do after service.

I have very little money and I feel that is directly related to being an RPCV, so I might as well have fun and I do(look for real work).
