I've shared my comments with John at length, but wanted to comment here that the history of the NPCA outlined in his modest proposal isn't quite accurate, nor are some of the actions attributed to some individuals and groups. While there are certain merits to his proposal, I'd feel better if the statement of facts outlined was more accurate.

Thank you Margaret for monitoring this. Those of us who were at Omaha in the fall of '79 need not be lost in someone's casual rhetoric. (It is difficult to monitor Web sites when the only access is dial-up, hence the delay in my seeing this.)
