I think felt that Peace Corps staff went above and beyond to ensure PCV safety. I think we all went in there knowing the risks involved in living in a developing country and there is no way Peace Corps can protect us from everything. I worry that all the negative publicity about Peace Corps is going to have damaging affects and deter people from joining the Peace Corps.
