In case all you people working for PC haven't noticed this series is an expose' of the exceptional stories of some volunteers that were treated unfairly.

Like I've said many times in this forum, if you want to hear the positive go to the Peace Corps website (you won't see any of the stories in this series there, or any details about County Directors that think a PCV many have wanted to date her rapist and thinks that there were plenty of chance to escape. (Thanks Mimi Smith you wicked woman, too bad you don't work for PC anymore 2-5 year terms may or may not exempt you from being acountable for your ignorant actions concerning my cae/investigation).

I am not angry at PC I am angry with Country director, PCMOs (Charo, Juanita, and Marty Leishman, Michelle and stephanie who took it upon themselves to (get rid of me) discontinue the investigation of the rapist for fear that PC would be countersued after lab results came back and didn't match. Peace Corps Bolivia neglected to tell me my case was closed until I went to La Paz and learned that I was being Med Sep (ed).

I thank Russell for writing this series as it has given me and other families a feeling of justice...the closest thing to justice that we will ever have.

My rapist is still free in Sucre Bolivia and I was shocked to read that since 1998 8 more rapes involving taxis have occurred. I know that there is a taxi gang in Sucre that picks American girls up on weekends outside of restuarants and discos. PC knows too but chose not to do anything about it. They got rid of the problem by getting rid of me.

Who is the country director of Bolivia now? How can I find out...she should know about this as I am sure Miss Mimi Smith didn't mention it to her.

Thanks DM and all of you who actually accepted the series for what it is.....Russell doesn't have to include good stories...the series is not about the "whole picture" It is about the exception so all you recruiters go to the PC website and let us have our justice!!!
