Well, after seven days of overwhelming b.s., the Dayton Daily News has completed its series of Peace Corps-bashing stories. The results prove what most folks already know:

1 - Journalism is dead in Dayton

2 - Ohio's one and only claim to fame will always and forever be that it is high in the middle and round at both ends

3 - Men named Russell are either the professor from Gilligan's Island, or wish they were

4 - If you publish something on the internet, sooner or later someone crazier than you will come along and defend your point of view

5 - Everyone is NOT entitled to an opinion... they ARE entitled to an informed opinion (since the Dayton Daily News does not inform, its readers are automatically disqualified from having an informed opinion)

And so it is at this time that I leave this message board, full of people darned near as crazy as me. Nothing was learned here, which is pretty typical of the internet.
