Dayton Daily News

• Re "Mission of sacrifice," Oct. 26: Sounds like we ought to bring this program to an end.

• Thanks to the Dayton Daily News for exposing some of the atrocities that occur to some members of the Peace Corps.

• Thanks for the series on the Peace Corps. This has been a sore subject for decades, with the Peace Corps unwilling to support victims or discuss the situation.

• I am glad the Dayton Daily News is rattling the Peace Corps' cage. I didn't experience any of the harrowing experiences that volunteers seemed to have encountered recently. The circumstances under which I left after only a year were much less threatening.

• Cheers for the Dayton Daily News' series on the Peace Corps. It's very appreciated by many of us, as Peace Corps volunteers are run through the wringer. The articles show us that we're not alone.

• I appreciate the DDN's efforts in showing another side of the Peace Corps.

• The Peace Corps articles were a huge waste of newsprint. The stories needed to be told, but couldn't the Dayton Daily News have condensed them into readable short stories?

• The DDN always has good stories, but it ruins them by trying to make a series — in hopes of a Pulitzer — out of everything. Who has the time to read five or six pages a day on one subject?

• Thanks to the Dayton Daily News, Peace Corps security may finally get some real attention. The DDN has given a voice to an issue that volunteers have tried to bring to the attention of Peace Corps headquarters for years.

HEAVEN FORBID THAT YOU INSERT AN ARTICLE CONCERNING SEAN HANNITY'S VISIT TO THE UNIVERSITY
OF DAYTON ARENA ON WED. MARCH 24. I WOULD NOT EXPECT ANYTHING ELSE FROM SUCH A BIASED NEWSPAPER.
AFTER ALL THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE IN THIS AREA THAT DO NOT AGREE WITH YOUR THOUGHTS.
