Re: Follow-up Announcement
As a follow-up to my message yesterday, I wanted to let you know that subsequent to my departure from Peace Corps on November 14, Deputy Director Jody Olsen will serve as Acting Director of the agency. I have had the opportunity to work with Jody since my confirmation and I know she is deeply committed to advancing the goals and initiatives of Peace Corps. Jody will be the Acting Director until a new Director has been nominated by the President and confirmed by the United States Senate.
The remainder of the Senior Staff will remain in place and will continue to provide guidance and leadership in furtherance of the agency's goals. Again, thank you for your continued service.
