NPCA to hold semi-annual Board of Directors meeting in Miami, FL from January 30 through February 1
PCOL will be flying down from Maryland to Miami to attend the NPCA's semi-annual Board of Director's meeting from January 30 through February 1. We will be reporting on the new strategic plan to bring the NPCA to the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corps in 2011 and on the Presidents' Forum proposal from August 2003 to evaluate board structure, size and composition of the NPCA's board. Look for our report on these two important subjects in the February issue of PCOL magazine.
According to the NPCA bylaws any member of the NPCA is welcome to attend board and committee meetings. Read the agenda for the meeting and if you are an NPCA member who lives near Miami, stop in and attend one of the meetings. Meetings will take place in the Miami Beach Municipal Auditorium at 1001 Ocean Drive on 10th (Barbara Capitman Way) and Ocean Drive. BTW, don't look for too many stories to be posted on PCOL between now and Feb 5 - we'll be on the beach. We hope to see you in Miami. Read the agenda at:
