Richard H. Moore, beloved husband of Jane Moore and loving father of Amy and Alexis Moore, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at his home in Spotsylvania.

Mr. Moore was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and a former member of St. Matthias United Methodist Church, where he held numerous offices. He was involved with Volunteer Emergency Families for Children for ten years and the Peace Corps for two years.

Mr. Moore is also survived by his parents, Malcolm and Louise Moore of Springfield; two sisters, Marilyn "Dundee" McManis of Stafford and Kathryn Crowe of Greensboro, N.C.; three nieces; three nephews; and many cherished family members.

Services and interment for Mr. Moore will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Zion United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Barbara M. Jacobs officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 3 from 7:30 to 9 p.m., at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel.

Contributions may be made to Zion United Methodist Church, Richard H. Moore Memorial Fund, Box 717, Spotsylvania, Va. 22553.
