For years we have heard that backward parts of the world need development and help. Many have tried very sincerely but the backward areas remain backward
yesterday I read alittle spiritual/fictional book that has been published by an asian publisher called eloka.com. the name of the book is Mystic and the Blossoms
it is a story about a village that changed from a poor backward one into a developed one in an amazingly short time. I think the book has hit the nail on the head as to how it has to be done.
You can find the book easily on the web by entering its title (given above) in any well known search engine such as google

I checked the review and bought the book. I think the six bucks were well spent because the story is an interesting work to read.
As regards, using it as a model to help poor villages. I am doubtful. Where will you get a mystic who has spent dog years in the Himalayas to do it?

Dear Carmen, I think you have to read the book yourself to find out. You can download it quickly from amazon.com or powells. Type in the title in the search engine and the book will show up.
