It is not just Bush that is causing our country to sound like a facist state...it is the people he appoints to powerful positions who are really frightening. I will vote for ANYONE who I know will rid us of the likes of John Ashcroft (to mention only one of the religious right crazies Bush has appointed). And I am also extremely concerned about the appointments already made and yet to come on the federal bench.

...and Ashcroft has the GALL--oops, nevermind...Maybe after his release from the hospital, we'll be seeing a "kinder & Gentler" promoter of incarceration without benefit of counsel???

For a man who lost the popular vote by a half million and promised to bring us together in the middle, Bush has taken a very hard right, beginning with Ashcroft--a big mistake.
Nothing and no one has so divided this country as has Bush and his regime. Worse, we have made enemies abroad for decades.
