All of Bush's major accomplishments have gone against Peace Corps values (destroying our environment, ie, drastically reducing resources for cleaning up Superfund sites, repeal of Clean Air Act; crippling our educational system with NCLB mandates w/o funding, and even taking away funding for schools who don't pass the new guidelines; giving the lion share of tax breaks to the wealthy, not the needy; and destroying our multilateral relationships with our allies in favor of his unilateral, corporate self-interests (ie, oil in Iraq). How could anyone and especially a PCV vote for this guy with a clear conscience? Also, he's talked of creating a portion of PCVs with a political mandate--this will destroy the program because already some host countries worry that we're CIA--we haven't been, but with Bush in charge, who knows...

That's the main reason (among many) why I will vote for Kerry. With the selection of a Right-Wing politico in charge of the Mid-E and Asia, Bush indicates that he will turn the PC into an arm of his plan to control the world by proxy.
He's a scary guy!
