hi my name is eloise and i have been thinking about joining a volentear program for a while.
i am 20 years old and have volenteared befor for six months in afriac. i really want to go where i am needed what ever the situation but i dont no who to talk to or even if it is posible for somone from the u.k to join. i just want to go sumwhere and help how ever i can in what ever situaton i am needed but i dont want to sit on my ass and do nothing.

Actually, vso has a young volunteer's program for those ages 17-25 as well.

I am currently 17, but soon will be 18. And I am interested in joining a volunteer program. I haven't had any experience what so ever in any thing related to this. But I know that I want to volunteer. I've always had a passion for helping people. u could say I find peace within myself by doing so. So I was wondering how would some one like me get started.

Some people don't understand that standing up for what's right could change a life, it could even be yours, so stop hiding and be a friend, I did and I enjoy it too.
