Former USA Freedom Corps head John Bridgeland creates Civic Enterprises to advise corporate, nonprofit and public-sector clients on policy issues
John Bridgeland, former head of President Bush’s Domestic Policy Council and then the first director of USA Freedom Corps, has created Civic Enterprises, a company that will advise corporate, nonprofit and public-sector clients on policy issues. While the company will not do any lobbying, Bridgeland has put together a roster of experts to serve on Civic Enterprises’ policy council and advise clients, including John DiIulio, former director of the Bush White House Faith-Based & Community Initiatives Office; William Galston, a former Clinton adviser; and former Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. Harris Wofford.
