Celebrating Kennedy family roots in Boston's North End, California first lady Maria Shriver, her parents, Sargent and Eunice Shriver, her brother Bobby Shriver, her uncle Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., and dignitaries including historian Doris Kearns Goodwin and Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, dedicated the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway on Monday to the Kennedy family matriarch who died in 1995 at age 104. Above, Eunice Shriver, center, pulls daughter Maria over for a photo as son Bobby looks on.

Maria Shriver walks with her parents after the dedication. Eunice Shriver is one of Rose Kennedy's daughters. The permanent greenway, just a stone's throw from Rose Kennedy's birthplace, has yet to be built; a temporary terrarium was created with rented plants.
