I am actively working for John Kerry and because I live in New York, I've heard some pro-Kerry people say their vote doesn't count here, since Kerry will "likely" carry New York. I hate to admit to anything but optimism about the result, but I tell people who say that how important it is to have popular vote numbers for Kerry be as high as possible. That way, even if the President is reelected, we can show that not all Americans approve his policies. Al Gore had a huge margin over George Bush in the popular vote, let's make sure it is millions of us!!! Joan Boyle, Brazil 64-66
