There are many issues at stake in the election, but being a RPCV I know that the world blames the current administration for the mistakes that have been made. If Bush is Re-elected, the world will blame the people. We can not lose our friends, we have worked hard for many decades to make these friends. We all know what kind of perception people can have of a country based on the decision of that country's leaders. Remember when France did not support us in going to Iraq, the U.S. wanted to Boycott France based on a decision made by their leader! We need a leader who will make good decisions and realize the consequences of each choice he makes, this man will be John Kerry.

The Kerry-Edwards approach to foreign policy is far closer to the spirit of the Peace Corps than the one of the current administration. I am e-mailing other PCVs in my group (Colombia One 1961-63) and making calls to mobilize Get Out the Vote activities.

We hope all Peacecorps Volunteers will vote for someone who is seeking to cooperate with other countries. The Iraq war splitted nations and communities. The world became more dangerous through Mr B.
The only sustainable Safety is obtained by Cooperation!
