W has been the most divisive factor in the U.S. and between the U.S. and the World since the abolition of slavery. Our loss of international respect and friendship is the scariest and most dangerous thing that's happened in my entire lifetime. The U.S.'s strength was that we were at the top of the supportive heap. Now there's no more heap. Just us, dangling alone (almost -- there's Tony Blair, too; not England, just Tony)... and heading toward a crash landing, I fear. We desperately need somebody to turn us around.
