I'm only 14 years old but I am very interested in helping people in need. I know that I can't really join yet but I would really like to know of there's anything I can do to help certain projects etc...

I'm only thirteen and I would love if I could do some kind of proct also. I meen, my uncle was in... and I would like to be in also. but if not, I still will maintain a peacfull attitude and try to convince my peirs to support peace.

hey, for 16 years i was raised in this screwed economy, but it wasnt until recently that ive discovered my need for life. ive wanted not to live, because selfish people make me sad, and the economy, the way people spend money, and i want to join the peace corps. im so pumped up and excited about doing it, but how? im not 18, and i dont want college, other than a major in writing, but i want to join the peace corps, and help people..how can i make a difference? thanx for everything.

hi every one, my name is sarah(14). yeah we may feel like we cant do anything for others, but we can. even though we are not leagaly 18 there are ways to help. lets start at a local level. i joined SADD(students agenced destructive desisions)and other comunity organisations. not only do people around the world need our help, so do our fello peers. look at how messed up the teens are today. bulemea, drugs, and other crazy things. we should start with our peers and work out way up. there are always ways to help. we are the leaders of tomorro, so we will take a stand for what we belive in. PEACE for everyone.

It's the PEACE CORPS, not core. You should realize it is a two year commitment. Not something you whimsically decide at when you're 13,14, or 15 years old. Talk to your parents, go to the peace corps website.
For Canadians; its an organization funded by the federal (american) government. If you have problems with its requirements take it up with them, don't just complain about it here.
