Hi there!
I am a senior in high school, and am trying to plan my future... yikes!!! I went to Fiji this summer on a service trip and experienced a new culture as well as made a difference in others lives. I realized that I want my future to be service for others, but I know I need to further my education as well. Is there any way of doing both at the same time? I'd really like some advice or any words of wisdom anyone can throw my way, it would be received with much gratitude.
sincerly,
Abby

Hi I'm Lacie, I'm only 13 but I was wondering about the peace core, because before I go to college I would like to be in the peace core. But I don't have any idea about how it works. My mom said its like a job, But my dad said you can join for 3 years and they'll pay you [ Sort Of Like the Army ]so I'm really confused. I would really enjoy helping people in different countries. But I dont want it as a full time job, so please help me out explaining it.

Thanks,
Lacie

Hi Lacie;

Peace Corps is an agency of qualified Volunteers in different fields of expertise which United States of America sends to governments throughout the world who have requested us. The term is for
two years.

Volunteers are paid expenses where needed.

Much data is in the segment PCOL.

Good Luck!
