um how about you wait till after highschool to get it and i doubt you need a college experience, and i dont think they would want you if you quit highschool just for that? but ok if you want to ruin your life, have fun with that! :-)

Someone who went to my school came to give a presentation about joining the peace corps, he went to Africa for two years and I believe he did it after college. The thing he did was become a science teacher. I think this is the kind of people they are looking for but I'm not sure. I am 16 and would also like to join the peace corps, but I think first I am going to travel around the world for the summer after high school, then go to college, then peace corp. This way I think it will be more worthwhile for me to join because I will be somewhat familiar with the world and would have a good education base.

I'm 13 and surprised at how many teens are as interested in the peace core as I am! So, I really don't know what I would do in the peace core. Would I get paid good money, if any at all. I know I sound nieve, but this seems like a good website to ask these kinds of questions. So, if anyone could reply, that would be nice. Thanks.

Hey i am 16 and i to am really interested int eh peace core and i plan on joing after i graduate but it would be great if we ( as in people under 18) could get a head start and help out in some way shape or form

Im slightly interested in the peace core, im 15 and thinking t would be an amazing oppurtunity to help people and to travel, and it is what i want to do at least part of my life, but i just dont know to much about the peace core yet. I guess i would just like to know more about it.

i want to help more then any thing!!!!!!! i just want to do the right thing and help out. do some thing that matters and will help anyone, any where and any time because i'm so lucky to be in the US and have a grest family that i want to make dreams come true and to save lifes and just do what is the right thing. i'm willing to go way beyond my comfort zone to help any one and every one i can!!!!!!!!!!!!when can i start? and what do i need to know?

there is a specific site, and it says that they would pick someone with a college education over someone with not, they also like someone with a language backround, four years of college was preferable, and i am sure that although you might not be able to do much for the peace corps at this time, you can however, do things in your community, which would than look better going into something like the peace corps, if you go to google, and type in peace core, there is one that comes up and it is a government site with information on it

The peace core isn't that easy to get in to, your chances of getting accepted are pretty slim and they would almost only accept people with a 4 year degree from college just go to their website, they'll send you some info and itll explain it better than i can
