One of the key elelments of the Peace Corps is that we are invited into another country to meet THEIR needs. Having host nationals talk about the gifts of Peace Corps in meeting thoses needs, and the host-nationals expereinces of indivduals who have served among them, will be far more effective than a re-invention that calls for a highly politicized agenda for the volunteers. There is an old expression that goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Peace Corps isn't "broke",we need the host nationals to speak up and toot our horns. There is too much negativity out there for us to oversome it ourselves.
