Wyoming Governor Freudenthal invites highly motivated, imaginative and entrepreneurial individuals interested in improving rural communities in Wyoming to apply to his office.
The priority is to find a special assistant to the Mayor of Wamsutter. Located on high desert along I-80, Wamsutter is a town of 700 expected to quadruple in size in the next 5 years due to massive,long term energy development in the area. Individual ready to build a vital community, capable of facilitating dramatic improvement of infrastructure, affordable housing, beautification and commercial services.
$45,000-$60,000 w/ benefits.
Other positions: manager of commmunity center for rural population of 2400 or coordinator of statewide public-private initiative to increase volunteers and quality of volunteerism
